M & S Duggal started life in the 1970’s as a family business and still is today. Owned and run by myself, my co-director and staff, we have continued to expand and change, to meet our client’s insurance needs, as well as keeping ourselves up to date with new regulations and legislation. The combination of the skill set of the two directors has made the business what it is today. Our philosophy is simple – we believe that trust is at the heart of any good business relationship so by offering sound business advice as well as sourcing the right cover at the most competitive price in a transparent way, we have won the trust of our clientele over the years.

The two directors have a wealth of past experience in not only the Insurance world, but also the Commercial world in Retail, Start up Businesses’, Finance, Energy, and the Leisure industries, therefore we understand the nature of risk from both underwriters and clients perspectives.

I have over 25 years’ experience in sales, broking and building relationships with clients and insurers resulting in a high rate of conversion for new business and maintaining a high retention rate. I have also had the experience of coaching the retail banking industry to sell insurance products. Having obtained insurance qualifications I spent time training at Insurance companies and at a Lloyd’s broker to enable me to see both sides of the broking process.

My co–director was previously a corporate Investment banker, who after leaving this sector, was retained by a corporate energy company to advise and handle their insurances. He also has a law degree and is involved in Trade Finance.
